Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Park Gets the Win – MaxPreps.com

While Lincoln Park didn’t have the best season last year (they finished 2-20), it’s starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They won by a set and slipped past the Chicago Academy Cougars 2-1. The Lions haven’t had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

In the two sets Lincoln Park was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-27, 25-11.

Lincoln Park’s victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Chicago Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1-1.

Coming up, Lincoln Park will welcome Alcott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chicago Academy, they will host Steinmetz College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
