Illinois State Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award for 16th-Straight Year



NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award, the organization announced Wednesday, for the 16th-straight year and is one of 15 Division I schools with an active streak of 15-plus years.

On a 4.0 grading scale, the award recognizes programs that have an academic year GPA of a least 3.30.

Illinois State is set to open the 2024 season at home on August 30 versus Central Michigan in the Linda Herman Volleyball Classic inside CEFCU Arena. ISU will host its Red-White scrimmage on August 15 at CEFCU Arena.
