TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Chicago State track and field team completed action at the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State. For the meet the Cougars posted three PRs.
Myshell Hurse set a new PR in the 200m with a time of 24.72, which led to a fourth place finish. She also placed 12th in the 100m with a time of 12.27
Trevon Prince had a great outing in the 800m with a new PR with a time of 1:53.19, leading to a fourth place finish.
In the mid-distance events Weronika Stanczak posted a PR in the 800m with a time of 2:23.34 which is also a new PR for her in the event.
The Cougars also saw some new events on the field side. Jasmine Cruz placed 31st in the hammer throw with a throw of 22.79m, while Sanaya Ross placed 29th in the javelin throw with a throw of 12.09m.

The Cougars will be next in action at the historic Penn Relays April 24-26 in Philadelphia.
