SUWANEE, Ga. — Chicago State University men’s and women’s golf delivered strong performances at the 41st Annual Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Collegiate Golf Classic, with both programs finishing inside the top four at Bear’s Best Atlanta Golf Club.
The Chicago State men’s team secured a third-place finish, highlighted by strong individual performances from Kaleb Lambert and Jayden Brar, who both tied for sixth place individually.
Lambert and Brar helped lead the Cougars throughout the tournament as Chicago State competed against a strong field at Bear’s Best Atlanta.
On the women’s side, the Cougars finished fourth overall, with Almudena Aguera leading Chicago State individually. Aguera finished tied for eighth place, earning a top-10 finish against the competitive field.
The HBCU Collegiate Golf Classic provided both Chicago State programs with an opportunity to compete against top collegiate golfers while continuing to build momentum early in the season.
