Enjoy “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love: The Jimmy McHugh Story” on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. at Lumiere Cinema at the Music Hall Theatre in Beverly Hills. Produced by Susan Morgan Cooper and Lee Newman, and directed by Susan Morgan Cooper, the documentary looks at the career of one of the founding fathers of the popular song. McHugh wrote some of the biggest songs in the history of music including “I’m In The Mood For Love,” “On The Sunny Side Of The Street” and “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love.” The film follows his career from Broadway to movie musicals and beyond.
