ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana State offensive lineman Griffin Hile was named this week’s Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Hile records Indiana State’s first MVFC weekly recognition of the 2026 season and becomes the first Sycamore offensive lineman to receive the nod since Keagen Trost received recognition back on November 14, 2022, against Western Illinois.
Hile, the Sycamores’ starting left tackle, played every snap on the offensive side of the ball in Indiana State’s 42-35 win over Eastern Illinois this past Saturday night. The Jasper, Ind. native graded out as Indiana State’s top offensive lineman in the game and helped the Sycamore offense pave the way to 502 yards (284 passing, 218 rushing) of total offense in the win over the Panthers.
