Chicago State Women's Relay Team Breaks Own School Record in Finals of 4x100m Relay at Penn Relays



The Chicago State women’s relay team of Myshell Hurse, Rikki Gray, Shamauri Brackett and Sanaa Parker broke their own school record in the finals of the Penn Relays college women 4x100m relay with a time of 46.49, surpassing the mark of 46.63 established in their qualifying heat Friday. The effort was good a fourth-place finish.

The team also competed in the 4×200 qualifying heat Friday and finished 15th with a time of 1:40.77, just off the school-record time of 1:39.81.

The Cougars will be back in action Friday, May 3 at the Billy Hayes Invitational hosted by Indiana University at the Haugh Track & Field Complex in Bloomington, Indiana.
